Human and Caring Services at L’Actuel
The Centre d’action bénévole L’Actuel is pleased to announce the return of its Friendly Visits service for people aged 65 and over. This program has been going strong since this summer! These visits allow our volunteers to bring comfort and companionship to isolated individuals in our community.
We have also added a brand-new Wellness Calls service, offering a kind and reassuring presence to those who need it. It’s a wonderful way to stay connected, even from a distance.
L’Actuel also offers a free automated call service called SécuriCAB. This service is available to anyone who is isolated, at risk of falling, elderly, experiencing a loss of autonomy, or recovering from illness. These calls, whether for safety checks or medication reminders, help users maintain their independence while ensuring daily safety.
