\nUnder management\u2019s authority, the Accounting clerk performs all accounting tasks for the organization.<\/p>\n

TECHNICAL ASPECTS OF THE POSITION<\/strong>
\n1.\u00a0Accounting 100%<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Manage the day to day operations of the accounting department
\n\u2022 Prepare bank deposits
\n\u2022 Manage petty cash and cash advances
\n\u2022 Management\/ follow-up on corporate credit card expenses and expense reports
\n\u2022 Prepare reports to determine the GST \/ HST recovery
\n\u2022 Preparing\/ carry out employee payroll and reports (T4, RL-1, CSST, etc.)
\n\u2022 Rigorous monitoring of collections and delinquencies
\n\u2022 Process invoices
\n\u2022 Ensure rigorous follow-ups with partners, donors, financial companies etc.
\n\u2022 Ensuring good management of trust-funded programs
\n\u2022 Prepare financial reports required by the CAB affairs and external audit. Work with the Board of management in the preparation of the annual budget.
\n\u2022 Verify reimbursement claims for medical transport services and ensure the payment of service providers
\n\u2022 Be proactive in improving the accounting, as required by the various services
\n\u2022 Maintain an efficient filing system
\n\u2022 Follow-up and update group insurance information
\n\u2022 Support the Operations department manager in sales reporting and analysis
\n\u2022 Support the Services Coordinators in managing their budgets and produce any document that could help in their management processes
\n\u2022 Prepare any accounting document to improve management or other documents as per requested by the Board or management<\/p>\n

2. Other tasks<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Participate in activities and community life of the L\u2019Actuel Volunteer Centre
\n\u2022 Perform all other duties according to his or her skills at the General Manager\u2019s request<\/p>\n

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND ACADEMIC BACKGROUND<\/strong>
\n\u2022 DEP degree in accounting
\n\u2022 Minimum of three years experience in Accounting
\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to use an electronic accounting systems \u2013 preferably Acomba
\n\u2022 Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite: advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook preferred
\n\u2022 Fluent knowledge of French; functional knowledge of spoken English
\n\u2022 Bilingualism is an asset<\/p>\n
